I have a vast array of experience to include primary care, urgent care, and oversight of an ER, hormone replacement, thyroid optimization, medical weight loss and wound repair as a nurse practitioner.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility and Swedish Medical Center.  As an LPN, I worked both inpatient and outpatient hospice care as well as correctional care.  As an RN, I was able to start my career at Denver Health on a medical floor that specialized in eating disorders as well in trauma/medical/surgical with an emphasis on bariatric patients.  Throughout these experiences, I was able to understand that I wanted to do more for my patients which then led me to NP school!!

I hold certifications in family medicine, wound care and excisional debridement, migraine mitigation and cosmetic techniques using neurotoxins.  I have completed additional training in hormone management, medical weight loss, and thyroid optimization.

I have a post master’s certificate as a family nurse practitioner from Herzing University and  a master’s degree in nursing leadership and management from Western Governor’s University.  I went to nursing school at Arapahoe Community College.

After graduation, I went to work in a rural setting in La Junta.  I love having the ability to bring healthcare to the rural population, making it accessible to all.  Working within smaller populations allows me the opportunity to serve multiple generations and see my patients advance through life stages.

Elevated Wellness came to fruition in December 2022 and has grown into a true passion.
